ITACHI 'AMATERASU' HOODIE PRE-ORDER

HERE IS MY ICONIC ITACHI 'AMATERASU' HOODIE! Read below to see details of how I designed this piece!

ON THE FRONT, I went with a CRISPY DETAILED 2-TONE EMBROIDERY of this character’s eyes while using his iconic Amaterasu attack! This embroidery came out BEAUTIFULLY, you can see the literal veins popping in his eyes along with the blood that comes out of his eyes when he uses this technique, the attention to detail is no joke! When facing the design head on, it’s staring DIRECTLY at you, it looks menacingly scary! The kanji on the front reads ‘Amaterasu’!

ALSO ON THE FRONT, I WENT WITH A JUMBO RAW EDGE APPLIQUÉ OF BLACK FABRIC ON THE ENTIRE LEFT SIDE OF THE HOODIE TO MIMIC THE AMATERASU FLAMES!! These flames are CRAZY, they cover the entire left sleeve of the hoodie and also cover a lot of the left side of the hoodie, they have a raw edge finish meaning the ends of the fabric is extra frayed, almost as if they were burned in real life! In the anime, it’s said that these flames are inextinguishable, so I decided to put them on the hoodie itself to signify that the flames will never disappear; the way they drape over your body looks INSANE, it’s truly a nod to this character’s strength!

ON THE BACK, I went with a big embroidery of the Uchiha clan’s Sharingan progression! From the first tomoe, second, third, and to this characters MS design! Although this embroidery is nice and big, I still kept it rather simple so it doesn’t clash with the front of the garment, I think it’s the perfect level of cohesiveness! The embroidery runs down the entire back spine giving it a super cool look, I love how it came out!

All of this is on a beautiful acid washed red fabric! I meticulously chose this colour to match this character’s overall aesthetic, and wanted to acid wash it so the colour is a bit muted, it came out amazing! The black area of the hoodie is also acid washed which adds to the flame vibe, I love it!
